We're starting a storytelling project called ‘Whispers from the Model’ to collect some of the fascinating stories, memories and pictures of New Bolsover Model Village, past, present and future.

Come along to our storytelling and story-making session:
Monday 25th June, 6-8pm
New Bolsover Community House, 133 New Bolsover

Everyone welcome; tea, biscuits, smiles and ears provided!

On Monday 25th June, from 6-8pm, we will be at 133 New Bolsover with Andy, our storyteller, to listen to your stories of life at New Bolsover. You might have memories of sharing your bedroom with your Dad’s potatoes from the allotments or bathing your four children in a bath that pulled out from a cupboard or it may be about meeting new neighbours and childhood friends. You may have a fictional story about a family that move on to the Model and discover a secret world in their attic…

What is your favourite place on the Model? What is your favourite memory? What will life at the Model be like in 20 years’ time?

If you would like to share your stories a different way, you can reach us by telephone, email, post or social media.
